Steven L. Winig has represented businesses and individuals in Florida courtrooms and conference rooms since 1983. He has substantial experience in the areas of business litigation, commercial landlord-tenant disputes, mortgage foreclosure, bankruptcy and premises liability.
An advocate of alternative dispute resolution, Steve is certified as an arbitrator by the Florida Supreme Court. He has presided over a number of arbitration proceedings. He has also been appointed by the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court to serve as a special master in a variety of cases.
A member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the South Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association (formerly The Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers), and the Palm Beach County Justice Association (formerly The Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers Association), Steve is admitted to practice before all Florida State Courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Steve received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany. He received his law degree from The Franklin Pierce Law Center.
